63754150945537443_vldX1mDE_cSelf-discipline is something you may have to practice daily. It’s so easy to go, say, eat, or do, whatever you want in the moment.

Stop and ask yourself, will I be disappointed later? Is this worth sacrificing what I want in the long run?

The answer is usually no and when you are successful at exercising control, it strengthens your discipline muscle and you get better each time.

When faced with the decision of having to choose instant gratification over a goal you’ve set for yourself, pick the one that will make you the most proud of yourself.
